Tonomachi Posted October 21, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 21, 2020 I bought this for 20 dollars at a garage sale last weekend. There is no label but it has USN in white under the collar. However it has a YKK zipper which I understand was not used on original USN G-1 military jackets. It has stitching marks on the upper left where a leather name patch used to be sewn. The name THOMPSON is written in blue ink on the inside of the inner pocket. So is this an genuine USN G-1 jacket and if so is there anyway of dating it?
