24th_infantry Posted October 13, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2020 Just picked these posters up yesterday. They are in decent condition for the age. One is an early WWII Red Cross poster depicting four service men escorting a female Red Cross member. The artist is Kauffman. Next is a poster depicting a service man holding the door for a woman with a baby. Its dated May 1958 and is poster 1215. Third and fourth are posters from a series. The first shows an ARC member giving a distraught boy a cup to drink. In the background it appears the town was destroyed by a storm or something and men are searching the area with flashlights. It's marked 59-F.C.-11. Last poster shows an ARC member on the side of a jeep with a radio while in the background is a 1950s ambulance and a man with a red cross armband giving first aid to a man in the middle of the street. Behind him is a town destroyed with flames engulfing the houses. It's marked 56-F.C.-42. Hope you all enjoy!
