The Rooster Posted October 8, 2020 Share #1 Posted October 8, 2020 I just picked up this liner. Looks like a late 50's early 60's liner that had a t least two owners. I'm guessing the second owner painted over the follow me stripe on the back. I picked it up mainly because of what is on the the front of the liner. Looks like it had a name on it and the second owner painted over it with his name.
MattS Posted October 9, 2020 Share #2 Posted October 9, 2020 Looks great! It's a P-55 liner (1955-1963) the first model made without the front insignia eyelet.

And thank you for those images you posted the other day showing the time line of liners from WW2 to the end. That is very helpful of you. In fact, that is how I nailed down the time frame on this one before I dropped the dime. Thank you !
