Military or Military academy uniform

Recommended Posts

I’m thinking it’s an ROTC uniform or from a private military school.

Agreed. I have one from a different private military school that still has all the ROTC patches on the sleeves/cuffs, it's also the same color fabric as yours. Yours is more of a WWI style uniform though.

Should be fun to positively identify though. I’m curious.

If you google the motto on the patch plus rotc I’m sure it’ll give you a some idea. There are tons of ROTC/Academies that were around Philadelphia

But the F on the emblem doesn't seem to indicate it would be from the NY Military Academy, or am I missing something ?

I suspect that it indicates the company to which the wearer was assigned.

The "F" Patch on the Uniform is from New York Military Academy (Identified  as N24D in the ASMIC ROTC Patch Catalog)  Only strange thing about the uniform is that it has standard US Army Buttons - New York Military Academy has had their own uniform buttons ( of several variation) over the years.  Hope that helps.

NO DJT initials found :(

Someone else identified this jacket as coming from Widener University in the 1920s, which was also known as the Pennsylvania Military College .

Well, write them in there and list on EBay!
