My Grandfather

I have decided to make this post, as a way to honor the memory of my grandpa, and to thank the members of the forum. Late last year, I learned that my grandpa had developed bone cancer from an already existing cancer, and he passed July 4th of this year. He served during peace time, just prior to US involvement in Vietnam. He was stationed out in South Korea during most of his service.

 

I would simply like to thank a whole lot of the members on the forum here with their help piecing together the bits of his military service he could recall to me on a previous post I made. If it weren't for all of you, this part of my grandpas life would practically be lost to my family. I am very thankfull for this forum and its members, being able to help me learn more about him and his service.
