hhbooker2 Posted May 8, 2009 Author Share #304 Posted May 8, 2009 Pages 498 through 503 is "BOMBED" by Lewis R. Freeman that is about a gaucho who took a rusty old lever-action rifle to bring down a WW1 German sea plane that bombed a ship he was abord, there were six (6), perhaps this led to "men's adventure stories" in magazines? Yarns about the war are interesting as they provide us with more than dry-history with dates, names, and places. Sit back and enjoy this short story.
