 March 1916 issue of "Popular Science Monthly" magazine covered the war raging in Europe during the First World War came into my possession very, very cheaply, strange as that may seem, fortunate for those of us who like seeing something more about World War One. Fortunately some of the front cover was intact, a lucky break, perhaps the reason others did not bid upon it, maybe they wanted a mint-like copy for their speculation in investing for their hedge fund? Anyway, I do not see these old magazines from the profit angle, but to share with others here to read, look at and enjoy! Sarge Booker of Tujunga, California ([email protected])

;) Page 148. An ad for American Telephone and Telegraph Company and Associated Companies that shows a U.S. Army general reading a map with the message: "WE ARE PREPARED."
