Kev smith Posted September 22, 2020 Share #1 Posted September 22, 2020 Hi All First post, so please bear with me if I get protcols wrong. I found a 'Terrell Aviation School' Cloth Patch in a Job Lot bought in a Militaria Auction in the UK. The Airfield is now the 'No 1 First British Flying School' located in Terrel Texas. It trained RAF & US PIlots during WW1. I have contacted them and they think it was used before Dec 1941 when the US entered the War. The RAF Boys had to resign their commissions so as not to contravene the 'Neutrality Act'. The Museum has not seen one before. It could have been brought over to the UK by a Brit or US Pilot??? Anyone got any more info please as I have hit a brick wall now. Many thanks in advance
