Odd Navy Officer Small Hat Device - Thoughts?

I was looking for something in my box of personal insignia and I found this hat device that I completely forgot I owned.  It's the same size as a "normal" small hat device and it's profusely marked 14k, but with no maker name. However, on the anchors, the mark is an "H" with a "14" in the top part of the "H" and "K" in the lower (under the bar) portion. Could this be a maker mark?

Any thoughts on this guy?

Thanks!

Dave

I've never seen a multi-part construction like that before. Is that common for that period?

No idea...I'm not even really sure what time period it's from. I'd be tempted to say 1920s?

Would say in is 1900-1920's era eagle. Really a great looking eagle. The closest I have seen to this type of construction is the full size Tiffany Naval Officer's eagle I have in my collection, made circa 1925.

Would interested if you ever decide to part with it.
