Tonomachi Posted September 11, 2020 Share #1 Posted September 11, 2020 I was going through some of my Goodwill uniform finds before they started selling online at shopgoodwill.com. I don't know that much about this uniform other than I doubt it is fake as I paid next to nothing for it at Goodwill. There are no labels or stenciling that would give me a clue as to where this was manufactured. The lower two pockets have been removed as my guess is that they were tucked into the pants so there was no need for lower pockets. I have not been able to identify J. D. ROBB. My guess is the the number 2071944 stenciled below RECONN is his service number. Does anyone have rosters for USMC recon outfits that served during the war? Spike Posted September 14, 2020 Share #3 Posted September 14, 2020 The lower pockets were just moved up to the chest.

I didn't realize that so was this a US made commercial hunting shirt with the pockets being so low?
Spike Posted September 14, 2020 Share #5 Posted September 14, 2020 Looks like a commercial hunting shirt that has been modified. You can tell by the stitch marks that the lower pockets were just moved up.
