kammo-man Posted February 11, 2021 Author Share #234 Posted February 11, 2021 Here is the world’s ugliest RDF surplus store utility cut shirt. Both arms are misprinted one received a few more coatings of ink. It’s worth mentioning it’s good to see the black was the first striking. Manufactured by Wynn who were also a government contractor for other items. It’s hard to see how this actually made it out into the marketplace but it’s a funny old world sometimes. owen

ScottG Posted March 7, 2021 Share #239 Posted March 7, 2021 I thought I might add a small contribution to this fantastic topic. A Marine top from a friend who enlisted in the mid 70s and used it. I am not certain of the manufacture date but I didn't see one similar for Marines in the topic so I thought I would put this example in for now. KommandoPost Posted May 9, 2021 Share #243 Posted May 9, 2021 Here's a lightly tailored Marines RDF jacket I found yesterday. The lower pockets were removed and the back was taken in with darts for a V-shaped silhouette. I thought Marines were not allowed to alter their uniforms? It was found together with this other heavily used, unmodified jacket in small regular that is also notable for being made of several different ERDL fabric colorways. The collars on both have the same pin hole arrangement.
63 RECON Posted May 26, 2021 Share #244 Posted May 26, 2021 Hey all, Does anyone know if there was a specification for ERDL? Kind of like Mil-C-43468 for woodland or mil-c-44436 for various nyco camo fabrics. cheers

It’s always a joy to me to find Cammo in the raw and this one has it all. I also noticed we do not have a proper go 2 ERDL thread so here goes My wife’s father was in the 25th and sadly died way to young from after effects of agent orange so Andy this thread is dedicated to you and the memory of all vets who have passed from AO. Owen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Hi, First, I have a fascination with special forces uniforms. Second, I’m not an expert on ERDL uniforms. I’m wondering why this special forces ERDL jacket on eBay hasn’t sold yet. I’m wondering if 1) it’s not authentic or 2) people don’t want it because it was manufactured in 1969, when the special forces were moving out.
