A factory stamp on an in country patched jacket tells me there were several made.
This one only got 1 wash.
Might have been a parade coat.

Hats were made from cutting up uniforms literally.
This Vietnamese production pork pie style is very typical of the mid 60s
By 68 is was out of style.
The grid sewing is very Florida civilian beach style.
