QED4 Posted August 19, 2020 Share #4 Posted August 19, 2020 If they are what I think they are they are too small to be mirror patches. As far as I know they were worn pre-WWII about 1939 and 40. I am not sure if they were actually authorized or just something a manufacturer came up with but you see a lot more of the loose patches than you see picture of them being worn, although I have seen them.
