ArchangelDM Posted August 17, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2020 This was picked up a few months ago and after seeing a forum members liner with the same markings thought I would also post mine. for me the small Round medics insignia is PTO as corpsman made there Markings smaller to avoid sniper fire and the white round insignia is what was commonly used in the PTO There is a name carved in the liner but it’s hard to read. The A washers are corroded and so are the chinstraps showing use in salt water conditions. The inside of the helmet is painted black and the helmet is hand painted in a green Camo which is reminiscent of the paint used by the marines. Tons of use and character on this one, great in theatre used condition. Old and heavily used but all original Enjoy
CWG Posted August 18, 2020 Share #2 Posted August 18, 2020 Could you maybe upload a picture of the name? Maybe see if anyone could put a first and last together and try some different combinations? Great helmet set by the way.
