trenchrat1918 Posted August 17, 2020 Share #4 Posted August 17, 2020 However these are very small I would have to agree with Bodes, my main area of interest is homefront and I've never run across anything like these from war time. My gut says they were printed later as a souvenir. What kind of paper were they printed on? Is it similar to regular newspaper or a material similar to v mail.Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Tapatalk

Steve B. Posted August 20, 2020 Share #6 Posted August 20, 2020 Ii have had several from The Oregonian, the local daily newspaper. One came with a mailing tube with the soldier's overseas address. I don't recall any of them having any special headlines (VE Day, D-Day, etc.) I believe the ones I had were legitimate. I cannot speak to the authenticity of the ones shown. I don't know if I have any photos of the ones I had, but I will look.
