robinb Posted August 2, 2020 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2020 Todays find. No markings on the knife or the scabbard. Appears to have been made from a file. 8 inch blade.

Doctorofwar Posted August 2, 2020 Share #3 Posted August 2, 2020 Should read “Japanese Sticker” I guess apple products don’t like the dated term and auto correct it...
Doctorofwar Posted August 2, 2020 Share #4 Posted August 2, 2020 Did it again-Guess it won’t let me type the actual name- I’m sure you can guess it- I give up with this autocorrect.
Doctorofwar Posted August 2, 2020 Share #5 Posted August 2, 2020 Ben Rocklin with one of his knives. Nice find!
mikedon Posted August 2, 2020 Share #6 Posted August 2, 2020 It is a WWII Ben Rocklin knife, J sticker. I attached an article from the May 27, 1945 issue of Yank magazine and an ad from the July 1945 issue of Field & Stream. I wish I could buy a dozen of them at the $7.49 COD Field & Stream price. SKIPH Posted August 2, 2020 Share #7 Posted August 2, 2020 Looks Ben Rocklin made to me. Scabbard and knife are about as close as you can get to the picture on page 213 in Mike Silvey's book. SKIP
