would like this thread to show any netted Helmets you have of any era :

Indeed. The surname is Kantor. The inside of the liner has his full service number. This one is in the process of retrieving his service record. I received this one from the vets son

Nice lid. I did some research on this helmet and I believe the vet was in a glider infantry reg. I cant remember the unit but remember reading that they were late getting to the fight in the ETO and their only combat drop was canceled due to the America advance through that designated area. That net is awesome

Could be possible, his son didn't really know too much, but his brother said he may have done something with airborne. Both are in their late 70's so it's hard to say, but is really cool if it is. Hopefully I'll hear back with the research before too long

This is a glider pilot helmet I recently picked up from a fellow forum member. It’s in exceptional condition.

The ultimate score in helmet nets...the sniper veil...I wish I had kept this one, but I know it lives with a very good friend now 👍🏼😉
