Survival Posted July 24, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 24, 2020 Hello Everyone Hoping someone can help with a little info on this Veteran who stamped his name and ASN ? number on this E&E pouch? Just some general info on which branch he served in not looking for a full detailed biography. I tried the NARA site but no luck. Many thanks in advance. aznation Posted July 24, 2020 Share #9 Posted July 24, 2020 You're welcome. Had it not been for that Missouri Reports of Separations showing his serial number to confirm it, I wouldn't have been able to find the right guy. That and the Census items came from FamilySearch.org website which by the way is absolutely FREE for anyone to use. You just have to register. I call it the free Ancestry.com because it contains much of the same information as Ancestry.com with the exception of WWII U.S. Marine Corps Muster Rolls, which as far as I know is only available on Ancestry.com. Ancestry.com might also have some information that is uploaded by family members as well. Anyway, glad I was able to find him for you. Take care...Matt
