Longhorn92 Posted July 19, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2020 I forgot to post this one last week. It’s pictured in the Keller’s book (I didn’t own the scroll back then).

Bill Scott Posted July 20, 2020 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2020 I owned that one years ago it was laying in a Riker mount with a Bullion 551 and the guy would not take a penny less than 300.00 for all three pieces.Look at the upper left of the picture I posted. mortaydc60 Posted July 20, 2020 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2020 Hope you pulled the trigger on that price. How long did it take to get to the show back than with a horse and buggy? By the way as usual thanks for showing these great items.
Bill Scott Posted July 20, 2020 Share #5 Posted July 20, 2020 It took me about 5 seconds to pay the guy and it was about the year1999.I sold the group at the same show to John Whitman who was collecting US back then.I knew the guy that sold it to me for the 300.00 so I put 700.00 in an envelope and sent it to him registered mail as a thank you.The 551 is now owned by Grant Bias one great load from an 80 table show.Scotty
mortaydc60 Posted July 20, 2020 Share #6 Posted July 20, 2020 Great story and classy act of doing the right thing; seems to be lost in society now.
Longhorn92 Posted July 20, 2020 Author Share #7 Posted July 20, 2020 Great story, Scotty. You owned about 90% of my latest haul, which gives me great comfort.
