SammyT Posted July 19, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2020 I picked up this 502 PIR pocket patch which looks good to me in all aspects except when viewed under black light there is a glow. It is not as bright as a white t-shirt or a white pair of socks but there is a glow to both front and back. My initial thoughts are that it got run thru a clothes washer with detergents or softeners or something that is causing the glow. I'd like to hear your thoughts. Thanks. Sammy T. Longhorn92 Posted July 19, 2020 Share #3 Posted July 19, 2020 It looks good to me. But I’ll let the real experts chime in.
ocsfollowme Posted July 19, 2020 Share #4 Posted July 19, 2020 lornhorn92....at some point you have to realize that you have become one of the experts. 😃 I agree, a nice period WW2 US made example that has been laundered a bunch of times.

mortonsr Posted July 20, 2020 Share #6 Posted July 20, 2020 I agree, this looks like a good period piece to me. I have the smaller version, is this one the larger one?
