Rhône Valley Interview

Here is a short interview my grandfather did with the US Army Radio Service while in the Rhine valley firing artillery shells across the river into Germany. My grandfather right in the photo.

Well, that's really something.  You must feel quite a few emotions - simultaneously - hearing your grandfather.  And what a "...long road..." as the commentator said from Addison, Illinois to Tunisia, Sicily, Anzio, southern France, and then Germany.  I know you're justifiably proud.

 

Best line of the interview - "They sure do appreciate the artillery"  when asked by the interviewer if Corporal Rosenwinkel had the opportunity to talk to "...any of those infantry boys..."
