M1 Liner Chinstrap question

Hey Guys,

 

In regards to this chinstrap, could I please get your thoughts on this rivet? I haven't seen this type before on a chinstrap and was just curious if it's a variant or fake.

I dont know for certain but Im thinking its Euro.

 

Theres no fine line impressed in the leather strap running down either side in the leather. And the rivet looks strange?

And the grain of the unfinished side of the leather looks unusually coarse.. No expert though so wait for others.

Any stamping on the other side of the rivet or the buckle?

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately not, just the one side of each as far as photos go. I'm with you on the leather, that too is odd.
