fpicoli Posted July 13, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 13, 2020 HI, i would appreciate some help on this item? Are those Original WW2 Paratroopers Jump Boots or post war? I noticed that the heals were replaced but i think thats common, but what about the rest? Waiting for any info you can add. regards Fabio

doyler Posted July 13, 2020 Share #7 Posted July 13, 2020 They could be WW2 era...also remember that the brown Corcorans were worn/sold throught the 50s as well. One of the 17th Airborne vets I knew told ne he ordered Corcorans for many years after the war to wear as work boots. I also have a set of brown ones dyed black that was from a career officer. They are real Corcorans but look to be re-heeled which is common.(the originals were beveled) Look to have the rawhide laces as well.
fpicoli Posted July 13, 2020 Author Share #8 Posted July 13, 2020 WHat about the Herman shoes Jump Boots? They were ww2 period production or later ones?
doyler Posted July 13, 2020 Share #9 Posted July 13, 2020 personally I tend to find the Herman in post war/Korea era groups.
