lavos Posted July 9, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 9, 2020 Hi all, just looking to get any comments or information on these wings that belonged to my grandparents. I have done my best to ID them but I am new to all of this. Let me know what you think Thanks
MikeK Posted July 9, 2020 Share #2 Posted July 9, 2020 Hi lavos, I don't have any issues with any of the wings. All appear to be standard graduation pieces. For me, most would date mid/late WW2, with the grey-backed non-Sterling marked Aircrew and Glider more likely late WW2 to KW period. Allan H. Posted July 9, 2020 Share #3 Posted July 9, 2020 I agree with Mike above. All appear to be original. The clutch back wings are all associated with being "issue" wings. I would also call all of them WWII era. The pilot wing has a Fox Company logo in the center of the shield. I'm not sure if Fox ever made a pin back wing. I have had a bunch of them and they have always been clutch. Allan
