Love of flags

Some of the recent additions to my collection over the past year or so that I have not shown on here I don't believe. 89c3514af13a0edb2933c3e7f4d50cee.jpgb51cadd581d2bce9a8a44642498cc15a.jpg4c51d0c64f6bf4ba894ae4780decf203.jpgbef1cfb6d2a2a22dc6f561e2f99ac3d3.jpg0cbbbdedb7b2e94a2543ac341121d495.jpgf37e3b5cbb77322904be74ca6f765bc0.jpge3d0ec24935179c9bd355b76edb86fb3.jpgba0e5736769da4fb69b87565601163c4.jpg

I Hate Moths

Nice group. I especially like the one with the names. Do you know what communities these came from ?

First one is believed to be from the central Ohio area. The other is unknown at this time. I need to get an ancestry account to help in my searching.

Old Crow 1986

Agree completely.  This is the first I've seen of multiple (non-family) blue star banners.  Just gobsmacked at the amount of history that is captured in a few pieces of fabric.  Looking forward to more.

From what my guy could find- most of the guys on the discharge flag were from the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.  There were guys from several different eras, and the flag may have come from a VFW post there that actually recently burned down. I'll send you the info that he found. (PM me with your address)
