patches Posted June 28, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2020 Just wanted to share this online find of a collar disc of this unit either pre 1957 when it was a Tank Battalion or after 1957 when it became the 66th Armor under CARS, probably German made right? patches Posted June 28, 2020 Author Share #2 Posted June 28, 2020 The item was BTW was incorrectly described as the "66th Armored Cavalry Regiment" and found site it originated on, Worthpoint, says it was hallmarked V-21 Vanguard, which then means U.S. post 1965, but does not show photo of reverse. " United States Army numbered enlisted collad disk for the 66th Armored Cavalry Regiment. One inch round - Made in gold plated brass. The number "66" has been applied over the tank / crossed sabre logo. Maker marked on the reverse side "V-21" for the Vanguard Company.
