Tonomachi Posted June 27, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2020 I've never come across these I'm guessing novelty USMC flight wings before which are well made by a couple of the insignia companies that is or have supplied insignia for the US military. The first one I think is Thai Marine Corps based on the colors of the shield but the second is hallmarked GEMSCO NY USMC SER 298 which is what you find on legitimate early post war insignia. The second is hallmarked LGB (Balfour) STERLING which is another hallmark you find on legitimate US insignia. I am familiar with the crude sand cast SVN made unauthorized insignia worn during the war by helicopter flight crew personnel but was this stuff worn in the same manner overseas in the field where the adherence to regulations were not as strict? https://www.ebay.com/itm/GROUP-OF-4-U-S-M-C-UNAUTHORIZED-FULL-SIZE-WINGS/184341230152?hash=item2aeb97f248:g:fzUAAOSweNle9QZ2
