Very nice lineup- he was a saver! It looks like the jacket on far right might be an Arctic Field Jacket as opposed to a M41.  Thanks for sharing!

He said that in his intro fez

Great setup of all the food groups!!
Now you need matching trousers to all.
No mean feat at all

Great to see you have your fathers 42
A true center piece

Thanks for showing

That one is a personal favorite of mine.  It was given to me by a family member. Merle Mankey would later go on to serve with the 11th Airborne Division.

Cut down Ike Jackets.20200909_222148.jpg.5de6f77a9188f5aaa8d8715506d9dbf4.jpg

The jacket on the far right is a woman, officers jacket. The hidden buttons look like what you would see on a battledress jacket.20200909_221946.jpg.babfb3564b3a822cded13c5831ec7b8a.jpg

Hi!
I was wondering about the 3rd armored division Ike. Any special story? I really like that division.

Unfortunately there is no id.

I do have an interesting group from a 3rd Armored Division company commander.

Please take a moment and check out my posts for Captain Thomas W Morrison. He was with the 33rd Armored Regiment.

Here is the other side of the Port of Embarkation ike.

The First Marine overcoat has W. Pfeifer written in the sleeve by the QM date stamp. The 1st defense bat. dress blues belonged to Laurence J Floyd, of Wheeling WV. I got it from his sister.

Here are my 2021 pickups so far. The seller of the navy jumper included a photo, and note from the veteran. The SHAEF jacket was a local Craigslist purchase from the veterans son. He also supplied a photo.
