My recollection is that most were camo, but you do see a few white canopies as well. Obviously, air crew chutes would have also been white as would the reserve chutes worn by the paratroopers. I have been told several times by vets that a lot of guys didn't even bother to wear a reserve chute because they were going to be jumping low enough that they wouldn't be able to deploy a reserve in the event of main canopy failure.
