pararaftanr2 Posted August 3, 2020 Share #27 Posted August 3, 2020 Phil, You are fortunate to have such good photo coverage of Phil in his flight gear and clothing. Thanks for sharing.
AZPhil Posted August 3, 2020 Author Share #28 Posted August 3, 2020 I'm very fortunate to have gotten to know Phil's daughter. She is finding these for me.. One other thing is this Nelson Crew photo.(Phil's original crew) It's not on the 384th website photo gallery. So I can add these to it. What is cool is that all the crew signed and put their addresses on the back. Any chance somebody recognizes the squadron emblem on the tail??? AZPhil Posted August 25, 2020 Author Share #29 Posted August 25, 2020 Hello To All, Here is an addition to my Phil display, A B-4 Life Preserver . This is the one I had asked about cleaning. And as Dave had already pointed out, Phil is wearing a B-3 LP in the photo, I missed out bidding on one of those, But won the B-4. I'll have to fix that when I get the B-3 to complete him. I also put the shades on him for that Top Gun look!!!!! Semper Fi Phil
AZPhil Posted September 9, 2020 Author Share #30 Posted September 9, 2020 Just an FYI. Phil turned 100 today and from what I am being told, he had a great parade to honor him and the Mayor of The Dalles who attended, made it offically Phil Chaperon day in the city. I should be talking with him later today when I get off work. Semper Fi Phil

busternfo Posted October 17, 2020 Share #33 Posted October 17, 2020 I'm not a uniform / clothing collector, but really enjoyed reading this thread. Phil, also noticed the nice AWANA Grand Prix or Pinewood Derby race cars in the corner of the picture. I have helped make a few of those in years past. Thanks to all who contributed and best wishes Phil on your quest, Dennie
