Strange WW2 aerial gunner wing

Recommended Posts

I just got a small grouping from a aerial gunner who served in Europe.

The wing is cast poorly but has an interesting pin and catch that looks German.

Is it a POW piece?

No history no name.

The POW ones I’ve seen are usually cast and not hollow back and usually a little more crude. Really cool European made variant though

Check out my eBay page, I sell military insignia and just about anything else I come across

Looks CBI made to me.  I have theater made examples with that same hinge pin assembly.

I am bored prefixing everything I say with "I think" or "in my opinion".
Everything I say is my opinion; the only thing of which I am certain is that there is very little of which one can be certain.
