MinorInHistory Posted June 8, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 8, 2020 Howdy all, These uniform articles belonged to a US Engineer in the ETO during WWII. This is one of my favorite uniform pieces, even though I know little about it, apart from that it appears to be made from an M41. I’m guessing it was inspired by the British battledress uniform. Note the Ike-jacket like flap on the bottom of the jacket and the ornate hook that appears to be civilian. Any info on this uniform would be appreciated. MinorInHistory Posted June 9, 2020 Author Share #5 Posted June 9, 2020 Thank you, I had not researched him yet so it is much appreciated. The uniform is definitely one of the stars of my collection. It’s so unique and I have never seen one like it.
