I must say the first one I have ever come across, came in a collection of USMC uniforms I was fortunate enough to buy. Good clean overall condition with just a couple of small moth nips.  I noticed the two top bottoms were smaller the others, possibly replaced or was this standard?  Any idea on a value?  Thanks in advance for your help,

very nice!  Love these WWI overcoats.  I have an officer one and it's one of my favorite pieces

How rare are these? I presume they saw some use in the closing months of the war.

Especially one in the shape yours is. One would think any uniform item is rare in this year of 2020😊

I don't have a picture of him wearing it, (nor do I have any of his actual uniforms) but here's a picture of my Grandfather, Cpl william DeHaven, USMC (1916-1920) 5th Reg HQ Company, & 11th Company in Haiti.    You might be able to see his coat hanging on the wall behind him.  Not sure when the picture was taken, but he's got leggings on, so I'm thinking 1919 or 1920.
