Roll of Rubberstrip similar to an Ace Bandage

Recommended Posts

Over the years, I've accumulated a decent lot of medical supplies. The majority of these items are easily identified as WWII era. This black roll of rubberized material held together with a strip of adhesive tape - similar to an Ace Bandage, was among a group of WWII medical supplies. I have no idea as to what it is or what is was used for. It is 2-1/8 " in width and 2" in diameter. What is this?

Thank you, sir, I appreciate it. I haven't seen it in any photos as a component of the WWII or Korean war Corpsman's Unit One bag, what kit, if any, is this a component of?
