Hi,

were the leather flyers jackets for the United States made in China during WW2 also?  My friend has one but I didn't see it yet.  He said it says inside Made in China.   Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

No, they were not made in China during WW2, they were made in the USA. Anything with that type of "China" label would be a modern reproduction.

Agree entirely. China was occupied by the Japanese since before our envolvement. Chinese aiding downed American airmen were actively hunted and killed. I cannot imagine how Chinese citizens made US flight jackets during that time.
