rocky Posted June 3, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 3, 2020 Hi, were the leather flyers jackets for the United States made in China during WW2 also? My friend has one but I didn't see it yet. He said it says inside Made in China. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, rocky

dmar836 Posted June 3, 2020 Share #4 Posted June 3, 2020 Agree entirely. China was occupied by the Japanese since before our envolvement. Chinese aiding downed American airmen were actively hunted and killed. I cannot imagine how Chinese citizens made US flight jackets during that time. JDK Posted June 3, 2020 Share #5 Posted June 3, 2020 Yep. As already mentioned, No original WW2 U.S. jackets were made in China. As mentioned, must be a modern jacket.
