akriener Posted June 1, 2020 Share #1 Posted June 1, 2020 Just wanted to share my first M-1 that arrived today! I have two more on the way but are delayed due to events here in Minneapolis. I believe all three are McCord. I thought this was Schlueter based on seller images at first but the loops are more angled than round which is a McCord indicator according to Helmets of the ETO. There is also no "S" heat stamp. I could not find a records match for the name Ansty but I did get a lot of hits when using the laundry number on the back of the liner: A-5907. So maybe Ansty is a nickname [emoji2373] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
twthmoses Posted June 18, 2020 Share #2 Posted June 18, 2020 Looking very nice! Maybe ANSTY is short for title, rather than a name.

Bugme Posted June 19, 2020 Share #8 Posted June 19, 2020 Great first helmet and as you have found, helmets are like peanuts, you can't stop with one.
