Walter Reed Pin Original?

Recommended Posts

Hello, I picked up this Walter Reed pin 10+ years ago at a local gunshow and it’s been in a drawer ever since. Does anyone here know if it may be a genuine pin and not some reproduction? And I’d do any idea of the what period it may be? Thanks

Good as gold.... I'd call it WWII.

I've never seen a good reproduction of this one.

TIOH

The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the Army Medical Center, Washington, DC, on 7 January 1937.

Interesting. The photos could be better but it’s silver in color however the top has been worn down and revels a brass or copper like color under the silver like surface layer.

Completely misread your post. Good as gold. Thanks for your replies.
