WW2 Chaplains kit or briefcase

Recommended Posts

I just purchased them from a picker and although not named on the kit he did get the owners name as Navy Captain Bradford W. Long born in 1918. His headstone says Korea and Vietnam. I’m sure it’s not complete and seems unissued with some of the stuff still in plastic. I’m no expert so feel free to chime in if you have the knowledge. ebeebe3003d83ecd2179379d77fec8ca.jpg

Nice clean kit.

Missing a silver tray.  You can see the diameter of where the tray would go (about six inches in diameter).  Interesting that it has everything else but the tray.

International Silver provided communion ware items to denominations who sent their clergy into the military.
