Hey everyone,

Wanted to share this grouping that I recently picked up. These items belonged to Pvt. V i c t o r D o n d e r o who was in the 100th Chemical Mortar Bn. The grouping consists of a couple patches, Ike jacket, and a photo of him in Italy.

Thanks for looking

Noah

Very nice! Love the Italian made insignia, this one would be worth the $ to get his records if possible. I also like the detail of the 1903 rifle in the photo!

Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for all the comments! I’m gonna see if it’s possible to get his records. I was also able to find out that he was in Co. A of the 84th CMB although his first name is listed a Vittorio

Very nice little group - saw that on ebay - I dug around a bit thinking I might take a stab at it - Looks like he spent all or most of his combat time withe the 84th CMB - my guess is transferred to 100th CMB very near the end of the war or after the war to go home?   Thank goodness he changed patches as the 100th bullion is much sexier than the 84th patch!

Thanks for posting!

Best,

Bill K.
