Timberwolf Posted May 25, 2020 Share #1 Posted May 25, 2020 Got this about 9 years ago from my HVAC guy. He said his dad was in the Merchant Marines in WWII and brought it home. Sadly his aunt threw out the rest of his dads stuff. Just a nice honest vet bring back with intact mum. Anyhow hope you guys like!

sundance Posted May 26, 2020 Share #4 Posted May 26, 2020 Very nice. I walked into a shop several years ago and found a Last Ditch type 99. I didn't know anything about them at the time but it was cheap so I grabbed it. I'm glad I did as I don't seem to see them much here in western NY. It's interesting to watch as they lost more and more of their refined features. Yours still has the plum shaped knob on the bolt handle - mine just has a cylinder. Yours is in better shape than mine though. Nice mum. Don't the white markings sometimes indicate it's a school gun?

It’s not a trainer though, wonder if it was at a like a replacement center/school?
