Wiswall of the 1st Separate Engineer Bn. where he served as a carpenter, and participated in the Okinawa Campaign. The SSI is theater made and has an interesting construction which I really can’t narrow down but more than likely Chinese made during occupation? Hope you all enjoy! Yes the belt was a nice touch. The uniform also just had the one set of corporal chevrons on it as well. Interesting wartime measure done at times.
