Oh, I love these kind of hats! thanks for sharing the pictures! they are so iconic! The Great War stuff just is so my favorite as far as look and style! :)

Thank you all. They can be difficult to display/store and this is the best I have found to do so far.

Wow! That is a super cool way! I could see it being hard to display. Also space-consuming, I bet! Love seeing all the different cords! Any of those QMC?

Yes, the next to last one is for Quarter Master Corp. The flash in th e pics makes it hard to tell, but is the  buff color cord.

Love your display method.  Campaign hats a can be a "pain" to display.  I have at least a half dozen of them lying around here, but for the most part don't shed any new light on this topic except this one:

The original owner was an aviation cadet at Kelly Field.  Unfortunately, the war ended before he could complete his training.
