stratasfan Posted May 17, 2020 Share #5 Posted May 17, 2020 Oh, I love these kind of hats! thanks for sharing the pictures! they are so iconic! The Great War stuff just is so my favorite as far as look and style!
Ronald Posted May 17, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted May 17, 2020 Thank you all. They can be difficult to display/store and this is the best I have found to do so far.
stratasfan Posted May 17, 2020 Share #7 Posted May 17, 2020 Wow! That is a super cool way! I could see it being hard to display. Also space-consuming, I bet! Love seeing all the different cords! Any of those QMC?
Ronald Posted May 17, 2020 Author Share #8 Posted May 17, 2020 Yes, the next to last one is for Quarter Master Corp. The flash in th e pics makes it hard to tell, but is the buff color cord.

cwnorma Posted May 24, 2020 Share #10 Posted May 24, 2020 Love your display method. Campaign hats a can be a "pain" to display. I have at least a half dozen of them lying around here, but for the most part don't shed any new light on this topic except this one: The original owner was an aviation cadet at Kelly Field. Unfortunately, the war ended before he could complete his training. Chris
