Vietnam-Era Elastic Helmet Bands

Hi - I'm looking to add an elastic helmet band to my Vietnam-era helmet, but i'm not sure which one I should be looking for.  I know the later version with cat eyes is incorrect and I think I will stick with an elastic band rather than one made from a cut up inner-tube. My helmets sweatband and Mitchell pattern helmet cover are dated 1965.

I've seen a couple of options that I am trying to decide on. One is an unmarked helmet band and the other that is stamped BAND, HELMET, CAMOUFLAGE, with "US" either before BAND or after CAMOUFLAGE (I've seen both).  Was one of these two bands issued before the other?  Did they overlap?

So I guess what I'm looking for is the version that would have been issued with a helmet in '64 or '65?  Mainly don't want to put a band on the helmet that was not available at that time.

Thanks

There was a topic once where the 1963 -1967 or so markings on the band were talked about but I can't find it, I think member Justin knows this marking

Stumbled onto this thread. Looks like I should be looking for a marked band (BAND, HELMET, CAMOUFLAGE US) as opposed to an unmarked band.

Whats the opinion on these? They look good, but I'm skeptical because of where they come from...
