I cannot, for the life of me, remember what outfit this DUI is from. Can anyone help me? Also, the maker's mark is not something I have seen before. Anything about that, or country of manufacture based on the pin style, would be appreciated. Thanks!

Certainly appears German made, but I’ve never seen that makers mark

I don‘t think that‘s a hallmark, but more likely from the die pressing through during production or having an imperfection. Lauer and Poellath are the two most well-known German post war crest manufacturers, but there were a few others as well.

67th Armor regiment, had long association with US 2nd Armored Division 

 

In the mid 80's they had wolf heads on the skirts of their Solid green (No MERDC for them) M1 tanks and were known as the hounds of hell
