McDermut99 Posted July 22, 2020 Share #4 Posted July 22, 2020 It could be, or maybe medical related. Since it was found near a sub base there's maybe a connection there. Either way it's a great piece, and definitely a fun bad idea. Just don't get pulled over with it in the backseat.
gwb123 Posted July 22, 2020 Share #5 Posted July 22, 2020 Logically it is either a shipping container for a radioactive component, or a disposal container. Either way, given its apparent size, you might want to have it scanned with a Geiger counter as suggested. One would like to think this was done before it went to Defense Property Disposal, but there have been some very notable slip ups in the past.
