More inside pics. Like I said, any help is appreciated in identifying this as Pinks or not.

Very nice hat,

British windproof material with a top made of 59 pattern Denison material. I like It a lot!

Yours, Guy.

N

BB called this hat to perfection.

This must be British made ,maybee by an SAS guy or the like .

I have had a French Hat made nearly the same but all in Windproof .

Your example is unique using different patterns ,but as you know to a army guy camouflage is camouflage .

Bottom line .

A killer bush hat .

You should be happy , I would be happy to have this in my collection .

Arch your hat is definitely Brit. SAS stuff probably. It could have been used in Borneo Confrontation, Malaya State of Emergency (late stage).... Ulster.... :packin heat:

A very nice piece of counter-insurgency wars.

I must admit, it's a very unique looking piece.

I fully agree with Beau, and his answer.

Definately British windproof with a '59 Pattern Denison smock material on the top.

Nice piece Arch.

How are the pieces you purchased from me, did you display them yet?

Cheers.

Ok guys,

Having been drooling over this thread, where would someone go to find an exc condition set of original vn war made bullet proofs badged? And how much would said set cost (I know probably the first born, but had to ask). I find myself being pulled gently into the vn collecting arena (should have head examined). but mostly will focus on insignia. except for this one uniform perhaps.

Chris,

Badged examples are VERY VERY expensive. If you want one, you may want to start looking into selling various body parts and organs!

Being realistic, to find a fully badged set, named to a US advisor, would be 3K plus. At 3K it would make any serious dealer think about buying it. I have paid more then that on a couple in the past, that were fully documented. A plain set without provenace and insignia can be bought for a much cheaper price.

Hello Jason,

great shots of a great cap, lots of typical period features to be seen on the inside.

Does the cap bear the marks of two sets of removed wings?

Here is the label

Oh Baby! Killer bizarro jacket.

Well done indeed for finding this beauty. Is it indeed recycled material or reprinted stuff?

Thanks Owen,

Simply incredible jacket, how did you get it Owen ?

Here is a B-15 style British windproof material custom jacket .

This jacket has a tailor label and must be from the late 1950s -early 1960s .
