Quarantine patches pt II

I got these patches this past week. The 101 Type 9 I got through my friend Allan. It’s in awesome shape with attached tab. 
 

The LLDB I like because it has a black border and both the eye and mouth are red. I have another that is a different shade of green, no black border and only the mouth is red. The variant I just got is shown in Sutherland’s book. 

The Chi Lang tab is hand embroidered. I’d always wanted these UITG/FANK tabs but wasn’t sure if they were really worn or not. An experienced collector told me he’d seen them on wartime jungles and a noted author/collector told me he had some repros made as fillers but not in Vietnam, although he didn’t say where. Maybe I’ll ask. He also believes the real ones were worn incountry but had personally never seen that.
