CBI Uniform Jacket LEDO Road - Bullion Patches

Wanted to share this antique store find while traveling out West last Fall.   Both patches are bullion type.  It is dated 1942 on the label inside the pocket. Jacket has some moth damage but not too bad.  I know the CBI patch is fairly common but I believe the Bullion Ledo Road is scarce.

Thank you, it was good timing I guess.   Could either of you tell me how the hash marks work? I have forgotten. I recall a bit about having to do with time in combat or service.

The 3 bars represent 1 and a half overseas.

The single hash mark represents 3 years of service state side. 

That’s 4.5 years total.

Actually, the 3 year hashmark is " total time in the Army"  Each overseas bar is for 6 months "in a theater of war" - that time would be during the 3 years of total service
